The 15th annual meeting took place on the 1st October 2016 at Tilford Green, Farnham opposite the Barley Mow pub.
The event was well attending despite the awful weather most of us had to drive through to get there and once all parked up it stayed pretty much dry.
Long time owners, new owners and potential owners had a great chat about all things 928 among fellow enthusiasts.
Thanks to Stewart and Sue Wren for organising once again. Here we see Richard topping up the AC gas on one car among many which kept him busy!
Attendees voted for their favourite 928 and an award was given to the car with the most votes and another for the runner up.
Sean Baker's very clean (engine out rebuild) probably contributed to his GT gaining the runner up spot. Andy Bush said “The black GT looked stunning, the engine bay was pristine; put’s mine to shame!”
I asked everyone to vote for a car that wasn't theirs. Possibly the ultimate to many, Bob Fennel's wonderful GTS manual received the most votes by a long way. Both owners received an etched glass plaque to take away and display with pride.
